Meet the Team
NICK QUIJANO
Nick Quijano is a native Texan, raised in Wimberley. Graduated from Texas Christian University in 2005, started in construction in Austin 2006 as a Superintendent at the largest private homebuilder in the country. He learned the trade and excelled as a Superintendent, Builder, and Lead Builder. After earning his Real Estate License in 2009, he quickly moved into an operations management role and began the Urban Development project specializing in land acquisition and redevelopment of Central Austin infill lots. He has experience in custom home building and speculative building in the City of Austin and most surrounding municipalities within 85 miles of Austin. His experience includes design, development, planning, real estate, permitting, sales and marketing, construction of single-family homes, Accessory Dwelling Units (ADUs), duplexes, and attached and detached condo development in all these Central Texas markets. Nick lives in Austin with his wife Holley and three daughters.
JOSH YATES
Josh is a native Texan, born and raised in Fort Worth, and a graduate of Baylor University. He started in home building when he moved to Austin in 2005 as a Sales Consultant for one of the nation’s largest publicly held homebuilders. In 2006, he became a licensed Texas Realtor, and in 2012, a licensed broker. In 2012, he joined one of the nation’s largest privately held homebuilders, where he excelled as a Builder, Lead Builder, and Senior Builder before moving into a management role. As a Project Manager, he managed numerous communities in and around Austin, successfully starting up and closing out several successful communities. From single-family master planned communities to high density communities and custom high-end urban infill. Josh has experience with several home building approaches, and he is committed to building timeless homes and communities with integrity and care, where the customer experience is paramount. Josh lives in central Austin with his wife, Amber, and their three children.
Bryce Beckman
Senior Project Manager
Bryce was born and raised in South Austin. He has experience in varying parts of the residential construction industry for over 19 years. Bryce attended Concordia University in Austin. When not building beautiful custom homes, he enjoys being outdoors with his family and friends, hunting trophy whitetail deer, and trying the next best idea on the BBQ pit. Bryce, his wife Kerry, and their two beautiful daughters live in Dripping Springs, Texas.
Amber Yates
Amber Yates grew up in Belton, Texas. After graduating from Texas State University with a BA in Psychology, she moved to Austin and began what would become a 19-year career as a legal secretary supporting attorneys in energy law. She joined Southerly Homes in January 2023 as Company Coordinator, providing general company administrative support, assisting clients with design coordination for their homes, and designing Southerly’s spec homes. Amber lives in Austin with her husband, Josh and their three children. She enjoys family time, canoe trips on the South Llano, being outdoors, going to the beach, playing 42, and reading.
John Rodriguez
Construction Superintendent
John grew up in Del Valle, Texas just outside of Austin. He graduated from Texas State University in 2022 with a BS in Construction Science and Management and made the Dean’s list. He has experience in construction retail, custom home building, commercial project management and residential construction management. John enjoys getting outdoors with his friends and family, playing soccer, and enjoying great restaurants.
Evan Cho
Evan was born and raised in Georgia and then relocated to New Braunfels, Texas in 2006. He started working in the construction industry during high school, continuing his craft throughout college. Evan received his degree from the University of North Georgia in 2014 and started his home-building career with one of the largest private builders in the USA in 2015. He has a diverse background in the Custom Construction Homebuilding Industry and enjoys serving his clients with their dream home builds. Evan doesn’t like to rest much on the weekends, he enjoys traveling, hunting, being on the water, and everything outdoors!
Kajal Gandhi
Real Estate Agent
Kajal Gandhi was born in India and immigrated with her parents at the age of 8 to Chicago. Once she graduated from Depaul University, she moved to Austin in 2013 where she began her career in education. After a few years of teaching, she shifted careers in 2016 and started working as a Sales Consultant for one of the nation’s largest privately held homebuilders. The knowledge from teaching has provided valuable skills that she uses daily in real estate negotiations and educating her homebuyers. As a Realtor, her first priority is to make her clients happy. She listens to her clients’ wants and needs to achieve the best outcome in every transaction, and she strives to ensure that the buying or selling process is fun, easy, and stress-free. In her free time, Kajal enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter outdoors, traveling, and trying new foods.
Daniel Tully
Daniel is a native Texan, born and raised in Austin. He started his professional career as a Firefighter/EMT. He then decided to shift his career focus into residential real estate over 5 years ago, and has been enjoying helping clients achieve their home ownership dreams ever since! Daniel has experience in single-family residential, multifamily, & commercial real estate. He enjoys working out, exploring local Austin restaurants and attending sporting events when he is not serving customers.
